INTER-06

The institutions on south bank are currently being exclusively shared by limited groups due to their spatial layout as solid enclosures. This project takes the National Theatre as an example to test a new typology of institution, one that is fragmented around inter-connected voids as continuation of the street, so that a wider range of public can blend in and contribute to its organization. Taking the stance of the mass public who are currently being excluded outside the institutions, the reform is hoped to take place not only at the level of the physical buildings, but also that of the social organizations they contain.
